Cass Lintott – LawyerFounder of Lintott Law, Cass graduated from the University of Alberta with his Bachelor of Arts in 1999, from the University of Saskatchewan with his Juris Doctor (Doctor of Laws) in 2003 and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2004. After articling at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, he joined the firm Yuzda, Schuster & Bresky LLP as an associate. Later he became a partner of that firm and its successor, YSL Lawyers LLP. Cass is also a member of the Canadian Franchise Association and Canadian Bar Association, former and current co-chair of the Calgary Foreclosure Section of the Canadian Bar Association, and was instrumental in the creation of the Court’s Foreclosure Fees and Disbursements Guideline. He has given numerous presentations to various groups in the areas of Franchising, Foreclosure and Mortgage Fraud.
Lindsay Rydl – LawyerLindsay graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2008, from the University of Calgary with her Juris Doctor (Doctor of Laws) in 2014, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in January, 2016. Lindsay is also a member of the Credit Counselling Services of Alberta Board of Directors and a member of the Debtors’ Assistance Board. After articling at Reich Law, she joined the firm as an associate, practicing primarily in the areas of Residential Real Estate and Foreclosures. In 2018 she completed a contract position with a national firm in downtown Calgary, focusing primarily on Commercial Real Estate and Foreclosures. Lindsay is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and current co-chair of the Calgary Foreclosures Section of the Canadian Bar Association, and a former member of the executive committee for the Calgary Residential Real Estate Subsection. Lindsay was also a member of the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association. She actively volunteers for Pro Bono Law, Alberta’s Queen’s Bench Amicus Program, and is a former volunteer with Student Legal Assistance.
